Dashcam, Japanese import, no brand - which app to use!!

Many cars I import from Japan come with a aftermarket dashcam which has GPS kit and rear dash camera too. The front cam has a memory card, and is like the main module.

There is no display. I can't figure out the brand either.

I usually remove the memory card and check the recording on laptop. This was fine until, I wanted to change the date time in the kit!!!

How to go about it??

IIRC, you can put a config file on the SD card which the camera reads on boot which will set the time, date and a few other settings.

My Google-fu is weak as I can't find anything about it right now, so I may be wrong.

Knowing how to format the config file for each particular camera may be an issue.
