Best Door / Wing Mirrors Ever
Discussion
I had a dream the other night, transporting me back to being a little kid in the back of my dad’s car on a trip to Scotland, would have been early-mid ‘90s.
His car at the time was an E36 325i Coupé… a great car, but what he really wanted and couldn’t afford was the M3 and had swapped the rectangular mirrors of the regular 3 Series for the teardrop-shaped M3 ones. The best part for me was how they were attached to the car with two angled stalks - it just looked so impossibly exotic and cool when I was sat in his car looking out at the world.
For me these are without doubt the best, probably more to do with these childhood memories more than anything else, but I can think of a few others that are pretty nice also. A little thing for some, perhaps, but I think the driver’s view out and the mirror that’s contained within that can really add to the experience.
Bonus points for pics from inside the car. Couldn’t find any decent M3 ones.
