Tracker Nano (insurance related)

Anyone have any experience of these?

I'm renewing car insurance and one of the cheaper Hiscox quotes includes putting one of these in the car (they will send it i just have to put it in and register it).

Based on search on here in the Aston section, it sounds like its standalone so no faffing connecting to power source, can anyone verify?

I've never bothered with trackers as i frankly i don't want my car back if some scumbag has nicked it and id get a replacement, but the differential in price for this vs non tracker insurances is large.

Also my search suggest its not a back door black box, as that would not work for me, so again any expereince folks?

Googling doesn't bring up much at all about 'tracker nano'
