Car replacement registration plates

Hi. Can anyone tell me how/where & whom do I send proof documents asked for from ebay seller (autoplates-group) for replacement car reg plates.. Cant see any address, profile doesn't open when i click on.. and really, I dont feel confident in posting my important documents... I've paid, but seller wants these documents before posting plates...
Why cant they just run my reg plate number if need be?? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like OP has ordered new plates, but seller is requesting proof of ownership after accepting and processing the order. Odd sequence.
They don't accept a photo of the V5C?

Looking at one of their ads they request original docs, but worth asking if they can accept photos.

Northern Ireland (from the last 6 months)

• bank or building society statement (from

the last 6 months)

• national identity card (issued by the government of a state or territory other

than the United Kingdom).

The following will confirm your name only:

• passport (doesn’t have to be issued in the UK)

• bank or building society debit or credit card

• police warrant card

• armed forces identity card.

Begs the question why you would order online. If you had the paperwork then there are plenty of places that will do it whilst you wait.

It would have been easier to pop into a local Halfords and had them done whilst you waited.

I used plate services dot co dot uk and they asked for the same, they accepted and emailed photo of the v5

Surely you should be contacting the seller, not asking on here.

I would have thought an email with a photo of the V5 should be sufficient, you don't even need to cover your name and address as presumably the seller already has this information.

Ok, have done request, so seller sent an email address, so i sent picture attachment 📎... Finally, has agreed to post... tomorrow!!! Yeah, Halfords next time, wasted a whole day 😂
