Anybody won one of those car lotteries?
Discussion
My cousin's work colleague won a tuned up Golf R from the one called Dream Car Giveaways on Facebook.
They were watching the draw live and they said his name.
As long as they do their draws live and use a 3rd party random number generator like Google then their legit.
However there are a lot of these about now, so you want to find one that make sure the cars they buy are top notch and are serviced/checked prior to the giveaway.
I personally buy from Dream Car Giveaways and occasionally 7 Days Performance.

Seems every man and his dog are doing these raffles now. As said as long as it’s done on Facebook live and they use Google Random Number Generator... and do test runs first outside the ticket numbers... I can’t see how else they could fudge it tbh.

I see lots of posts on Facebook to pick a number and win a car, tools, junk etc but the majority seem to originate from Northern Ireland.
Is there a reason for them to be from this specific region of the country? Is it a cultural thing or differing laws?
Lots of people trying to copy the success of RKings who are from here. Is there a reason for them to be from this specific region of the country? Is it a cultural thing or differing laws?
Bought an entry to BOTB once for a bit of a laugh!
And amazingly enough I didn't win.
I had to buy the entry before I found out it was basically a "Spot the Ball" competition.
I may be cynical, but I can't help thinking that by the time all the entry fees have been collected the "prize" has already been funded!
IMO these sort of things seem like a scam - just save the entry fees until you can buy what you want.

You do realise these are all run as a business (for profit) so the intention is certainly to fund the prize (plus admin costs and profit) from selling entries?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
