Directional tyre question.
Discussion
Hi all, new user here. I have had what appears to be tyres fitted the wrong way round on my car (water fed to centre of the tyre). Both say outside on the wall but I believe 2 lefts were used on a right/left setup. It won't let me up load the picture, but the directional pattern is the same on both wheels, i. e. Going the same way when viewing both tyres, meaning they are opposite direction on each side.
Am I going mad, does that mean one tyre disperses whilst the other pools water in the centre?!
P. S. Its part half wheel directional, outer edge, so you can't just flip it the other way,(directional would end up on the inside.

I have uniroyal rainsport3 tyres on one of my cars and they do look like you describe. That is how they are and they work excellently. Nothing dodgy.
Fair enough, but it would still make sense for the paterns to go the same way, not opposed directions, you don't see full V pattern tyres with one side a normal V then the other side inverted, which is the same principle here. 2Slow2Go said:

On the face of it that does seem to make sense but I am sure that tyre manufacturers understand a bit more about tread design than I do.HustleRussell said:

It directs the water to the centre of one tyre
Doesn’t work that wayUniroyal always one of the best wet tyres in class.
