Oops, London mayoral car no mot
Discussion
It's obviously not his car neither is it his responsibility to keep the car roadworthy but I am surprised he's ok to be driven around in a car powered by a 4.4L V8. Not good considering his war on the motorist and trying to cut pollution etc...
I wonder if these government 750Li's are modified for staff protection meaning he can't ask for it to be replaced with an electric or hybrid.
Also interesting that the emissions figures on PJ12 HNO are 0 g/km whereas it should be 199 g/km.

And its a 2016 model first registered in 2018.
With a 2012 reg plate on it.
And as stated zero emissions, so no tax and no congestion charge.
Something's off...With a 2012 reg plate on it.

The 7er changed face in 2016
Yet Sadiq's (or TfL's) car is the previous model which ran from 2012-15
that somehow has two different registration ages (vehicle first registered SHOULD match manufacture year)
I guess I'm picky having just put a private plate on my car and know the long process of doing so...
How a 4.4 litre can emit no CO2 is great for his 'clean' credentials (I guess thats true with the engine off )
I think it is a 2012 (2015 at most, and I doubt it's an old model the dealer had knocking about and never registered, like what he does with his buses )
but I guess the DVLA data's been altered (surely an offence?) unless it's 'human error' down at Swansea which I very much doubt... It would be embarrassing for him, living near the ULEZ zone, and having to travel in it from April to have to pay for an older car (this being Euro 5 at best)

He's the Mayor of one of the world's largest and wealthiest cities - the dignity of his office demands an appropriate car
I don't expect to see him in a Punto but at least the car could be legit... what pees off most Londoners is shelling out for a newer lower emission car to avoid paying close to £35 a week for a Euro5 diesel and below just to have it parked outside the house There's conversion kits for buses and black cabs but none for cars. This is the icing on the cake after he destroyed the roads with cycle lanes, and knife crime is out of control. If you or I were pulled by police after a PNC check, we'd be nicked... doesn't matter if it's a driver, family friend, TfL fleet car... it should be legit. 4.4 V8 with zero emissions? AlexS_LDN said:
