Something small and Japanese. You can pick up a ~2010 Micra,Yaris, Suzuki or Daihatsu up for <£4000 which will most likely cause minimal bother.

Surely, if one of our fellow PH'ers is to be believed, the only answer here has to be something American, preferably a muscle car, with a big V8 engine & low mpg hehe
