Parking Next to the Same Model

Got to my car in a long stay airport car park and found it had made a new friend whilst I was away

I've done it myself when the opportunity presents itself, anyone else?

I don't think I've ever seen another same model of my car to be able to do this, I'll keep my eyes peeled from now on.

With only about 250 others on the road i doubt i will get an opportunity, but would definitely take it if it presented itself.

Haha! I guess it depends on what you drive as well, but I assume most people returning to their car and seeing the same model parked next to them would notice and make comment. At least I know they'll be careful when closing doors and leaving the space.

Surely this is just the same make rather than model, like a BMW 3 series saloon parking next to a 3 series estate - not the same thing.

They're both Aeros.

I usually will do it if given the opportunity. That said, there is only the older style of MX-5 around here so it's not exactly the same. Conversely I also try and park next to massive trucks for the scale difference (no one really uses sports cars here so it's pretty unusual to have the comparison).

A few years ago I came back from shopping in Southampton to find an identical car parked next to mine. They only made 25 of them, it's the only time I've ever even seen one.
