How to fk can I buy or lease any bloody car other than a 1 Series 135i M Sport when it's sitting there tempting me, sooooooo bloody cheap, sooooooooo bloody fast, sounds soooooo bloody good and capable of exiting roundabouts soooooooo bloody sideways.

Am tempted. Don't need a car, need five seats rather than four, need a big estate for mountainbikes and big dogs, am not keen on the image, yip about badge snobs and the fixation with interiors but if this £200 a month plus VAT offer doesn't disappear soon I'll bite and be everything most PHers dispise, a leased Beemer driver........ Oh! and when I am can I just add it will be white, it will have a prominent M Sport badge, It will be driven like a tt and I will be looking down my nose at the rest of you.

£200 for a 135? That's bonkers cheap. Which means or should mean in 10 years time there will be plenty of cheap ex lease ones about to buy. driving

It's gone weeping. Now up at £367+vat a month. Last time I looked was the 5th. Biggest bargain I'd seen since Mercedes were punting E Class Estates at just over 200 a month last year, just before the facelift was due. Wonder what the next bargain will be.

Picked up the link here.

Cheapest I could find was £228+vat. £1300 odd deposit was a bit steep mind you frown

Why were they only £200 a month?

Was it over 16 years biggrin or a massive balloon payment/deposit.

That's a business use contract though.

No they won't.

Ugly things, I just don't see the appeal. I get the impression BMW could make an M version of any piece of st looking car, and people would queue up to buy it. Madness.

Says the owner of a diesel MG/Rover barge… A curious choice for an accountant...

I am falling into the same trap as you, OP. I want the 5-door with the auto transmission, however, and this seems to be significantly more costly. frown

Rather than picking on someone because they choose to own a different car to you, why not update your garage to show that you now own an M135i or explain in your post above that it's a different BMW you meant.
Perhaps the accountant who drives an MG is intelligent enough to invest his money in projects which will put money in his pocket, rather than a 135 on a lease that will only take money out.
