Well - glad you found some good stuff to photograph. I was there on the Saturday and it was empty, wet and miserable.
I have to say that there was no local publicity for this and some of the exhibitors were very critical of the organisers.
Looking forward to a better effort next year, perhaps.

I went yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Free entry and little publicity meant my expectations were pretty low but it was a good day out.I have to say that there was no local publicity for this and some of the exhibitors were very critical of the organisers.

I was there both days on the club stand (first time we have attended), and overall thoroughly enjoyed it.
There were a few showers on Sat, but it could have been a lot worse. Very few bodies around other then the owners of cars on the stands though. It had the feeling of a ‘preview’ day.
Sunday was much better, with loads of visitors. Don’t know how much of that was due to the weather, and how much due to the event only being a 1 day show on a Sunday in previous years.
When I spoke with the organizers Sunday afternoon they said that Saturday had been intended to be more for the car clubs attending, hence why the driving skills and shown & shine took place on Sat. Sunday was indented to be the more traditional event for the public. This intension wasn't communicated to anyone though, but at least we know for next year.
The food/drink stands were out on a limb; away from the main event was not a good plan. There was no real reason for this as there was plenty of space much closer.
Lack of an option to camp without having to buy an expensive evening dinner ticket probably put a few people off staying for the weekend. I did pass my thoughts on to the organisers.
This isn’t a classic car show, its open to cars of all ages, hence why there is some modern machinery in the pics (will post some of mine when I get round to taking them off the camera).
Also heard from the organisers that it will be held at Stoneleigh for at least the next 2 years.

I agree about the food. Was out the way and was so expensive. £4.40 for a cheeseburger. I know I went hungry to avoid paying that and to be honest I never saw anyone else eating either. There were a few showers on Sat, but it could have been a lot worse. Very few bodies around other then the owners of cars on the stands though. It had the feeling of a ‘preview’ day.
