In the mid 90s, a teenage PRO5T ached for a tiger-striped cossie. I did however know that it wasn't as cool as an original rallyesport striped Sierra or Escort.
I was Ford XR and RS all the way until MAX Power put a Martini striped Intergrale on the front cover "fruit of the forest"

I binned all my MAX Powers but that one was kept, must be in the parents attic somewhere. Totally changed my view in cars from there on in.

Awful drink, but what a livery!PRO5T said:
Indeed! But can you remember all those famous liveries from back in the 80s and being pre internet not having a clue what they were for?! New Man, Liqui Moly, Segafredo, Parmalat, Leyton House to name a small few-I remember starting to train as a heating engineer and suddenly realising that Valiant made boilers-still no idea what a rabbit has to do with it!

I still have my Valiant Burago 935 in the loft.
Told you I don’t throw anything away!
Think mine is still floating about somewhere too, and managed to get up close and personal to the real thing as Silverstone a few years ago. The bunnies are brilliant, but I’ve also no idea what the reason isTold you I don’t throw anything away!
Good point by PRO5T, I remember being very confused by some of those brands back then. I knew most of the oil, stereo and ciggie sponsors, and the likes of BASF because they made tapes for my Walkman, but there were a good few others which sounded very exotic but unknown to me

There was no confusion on that one ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
I suppose a lot were just assumed to be foreign fags, especially when we got into the days of fags being banned in Britain and seeing them disappear off cars.
But Renown on the Mazda 787?, F.A.T. I still have no clue about never mind FROM A![confused](/inc/images/confused.gif)

From the vaillant website:‘ Easter Sunday, 1899. Johann Vaillant is leafing through the monthly magazine Alte und Neue Welt at leisure. While scanning the pages, a picture catches his eye: a hare is escaping out of an Easter egg. Other little animals and comical dwarves stand around the egg and marvel at the miraculous hare. Johann Vaillant is so fascinated by this picture that he acquires the copyright to the curious Easter image – the hare is to become the trademark of his company from that point on. Since 1899, the hare has adorned Vaillant’s products, catalogues and brochures and ensures an unmistakable brand image. Today, the Vaillant hare is one of the best-known product logos in Europe.’
So there you go…

I have no idea why that fact was retained in my brain.
