Love the 993 RS content

At the lower end of things ClubSport, managed to complete two-thirds of a PC Mag recreation at the weekend. Photo credit to Caffeine & Machine who asked could they use them for a photoshoot. Need to find an S2 Coupe too next time though

Noice….

Funny, 30 years later and i still cannot decide which one i would prefer. Having driven neither hehe

As a bit of a driving-feel snob it probably would be the 968 while wishing it made the noise of the M3.

A slight diversion from all things Maserati, yesterday I saw, on my local high street, a new fully winged up 911 RS. Very nice it was too and daft as anything but who cares.
Today, in an unlikely coincidence, driving through the local supermarket car park I saw a Manthay version of the same car but all in black and blimey, that’s quite a bit of equipment indeed. Very interesting wheels.

Anyway, has Bubba bought the Sublime 70s dream car yet?
Fear of The Bork has hit hard-ish-kinda. I've a 964 C2 that ticks many boxes and I know it's foibles after 15 years. Tell me the Bora is £150k in 10 years and I might just....

Thanks Braddo. There were four of us on the trip, and everyone drove both cars. The other non-M3 owners preferred the M3 as they found the 968 a bit too raw and uncomfortable, whereas the M3 owner said its old-school nature reminded him a bit of the E30 M3 he used to have

I loved the M3 for some of the motorway and A-road driving we did, and I’d love one (especially a saloon) for future Euro road trips, but it’s the 968 still for me I think

It is a REALLY tough call between an E36 and a 968 for me.

Can’t call it tonight tbh.

But, but……and it is a big but (and I cannot lie) would I go mildly tweaked 996 for similar money.

Fantastic - brings back memories, reading this on holiday in 1993 with my soon to be wife, who incidentally became a massive fan of the 968CS. Was and is her favourite Porsche ever. I loved both the yellow M3 and the CS. Could've bought a 968CS in the early/mid 2000s. Didn't and now wonder.......

Hmm. Not convinced on that one...

Sembra spettacolare!

(I think the earlier Rosso ones look good, with the black lower panels and mouldings, although I am aware that the later 348s are considerably better cars than the earlier ones - I think by the 1994 models it was effectively a trial run of the F355).

I’ve had a long hankering for a 348 and can remember when you could pick one up for twenty something. Should have gone for it!

At the very worst all it's cost is money and the other side of the coin is that you're in an incredible actual first generation supercar and by the recent spend, surely it's got to be in pretty rude health...*

  • Previous bills are definitely not any indication of future bills and should always be looked at as a positive and not a warning.
