Well after 5 years of playing rev comps religiously and spending an obscene amount of money, I have finally decided enough is enough. The fun has stopped and I have nothing to show for it. Was fun while it lasted however debt has started to take hold from chasing a big win. I will probably still watch the live draws as I love the energy of the rev comps team and love seeing people win life changing prizes. Good luck to all remaining Rev heads and remember to play within your limits. You’re not guaranteed a win no matter how much you spend. Low odds or not if you’re going to win you’re going to win no matter how many tickets you buy.
Good luck Rev heads. LYB

That sounds a sad story. How much have you ploughed into these comps? To end up in debt because of it sounds like you’ve done the right thing by abstaining now.

Might not be the best idea to watch the draw if you’re a gambling addict or in debt because of gambling. Only way to recover is going cold turkey. If you want to that is

Block their website and adverts, it sounds like you are addicted.

I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess, it would be interesting if rev comps offered something on their site which showed this, looking at transactions includes free site credit, the old daily credit etc, however in this I have over 1500 transactions. Not sure if this is a lot compared to others.

I havn’t spent as much as say FG however probably averaged £500 per month some months. I moved on to free postal entries in order to still be involved but spend less, however when the auto draw watches and gold etc started these were never accepted via the postal route so I began purchasing the odd ticket which turned into multiple tickets and spiralled out of control.

I am happy to have stopped before It got into unmanageable debt. Which I am sure there are a lot of people out there in this situation which I have seen how easy this is to do.

Nothing against rev comps as I love the team and everything they do. It’s just my time to step back.

This is the only type of gambling I have ever done, not into betting or national lottery etc, I’ve asked to block my rev comps site. I will try and watch for a while as I do enjoy the live draws and watch every week. I don’t think I’ll get the same buzz not being in for anything and will probably get bored of this after a while.

Where are you seeing that many transactions, when I check the website orders section it only shows me one page?

I know if you email them they will send you a note of the total amount you have spent but I’ve never been brave enough to do it!

Most banks allow you to block certain types of transactions from your cards (eg gambling). You can usually reactivate with a 24hour wait but at least that cooling off period will help if you have a sudden urge but don’t want to get sucked in to temptation.

Sounds like you’re doing the right thing

On RevComps you can Go to Account > My Wallet > Transactions

Change it to Show 100 entries and then it's easy enough to copy the results into a spreadsheet.

It's not so easy on other sites.

After a 3 year restoration, the Monte is live on DCG.

I can see this selling out pretty quick.

That is stunning and about as good as you can get for a cosworth these days. Is it worth £100k, probably not but worth a punt for £4.

With my professional hat on, may I suggest that you refrain from watching live draws or anything else to do with these sites.

What you're attempting is akin to an alcohol dependent individual trying to abstain from drinking but popping into his local each night to watch others have a pint or two.

This attempt to gain some vicarious pleasure simply does not work.

Once you've got your finances on an even keel, perhaps consider putting the money you've not spent gambling into Premium Bonds? You don't lose your stake and you can get it back.

Funny because I’ve recently been looking into premium bonds, definitely something I’m going to look in to

Hard to tell as I’ve used 2 cards, on one card almost £3.5k in little over a year, £4.8k since I started add on all the free credit from comments draws, postal entries and the odd £100-£500 credit wins I’ve spent I have probably had well over £5k worth of tickets in a year with nothing to show.
New way of thinking is I’ll save and buy a car I like.

Revcomps back to the desperate 3-4 emails a day to try and get more sales, if the odds were better like when they started they would sell more
