The 300ZX really was from an era when we knew how to make car ads

The twin turbo 300ZX is my all time personal favourite Nissan Z car for sure. cloud9

I'd love it if they offered the current twin turbo Nissan Z car in the UK as well. I'm a big fan of the 350/370 don't get me wrong, but turbos give you so much more scope for tuning I reckon versus NA though.

Agreed, I was very disappointed when the new Z wasn't coming to Europe. Especially given the way it blended so many different elements from the previous generations.

Had 2005 350z GT for almost 8yrs, without spending a good 150% more than this cars worth I'd struggle to better it for looks, noise, driving position, performance & reliability.

Had mine on track a few times and keeps up with alot of more expensive cars. These lapped the old Top Gear test track in the same time as the e46 M3, the Nurburgring in the same time as the mk2 Focus RS 8 mins 26 seconds with awful OE Bridgestones. Anyone who says these are slow for their class doesn't know how to drive.

I have a couple as part of my Jap collection. Dragged this one out the other day. I know some people prefer the coupe but I like convertibles.

I can't add much to what other posters have said but I really like the way they drive. They feel bigger and heavier than something like a Boxster but are no less enjoyable for it unless you have a strict preference. Perfectly quick enough and make a nice noise. They like a drink but as hobby cars so what? Any problem areas are few and far between and well known and the online support is pretty good. Parts availability is fine and I haven't found Nissan to be stupidly expensive whilst being good quality. It is true that the interior plastics are cheap and nasty and it's one thing I would be happy to tart up with some after market tat. Like most Japanese cars of the era you have to watch for rust but they are nothing like as bad as something like an S2000. Overall, they make a nice bruiser-cruiser that handle surprisingly well.

I had to fit a new thermostat and it's integrated with the housing. This is the new oem part - really high quality machining.
