£44k sounds a lot, but I bet you could run it and never lose money!
I'd love one.

£44k is basically the right price for it for the level of engineering and performance. When launched in 2020 it was deliberately under-priced as Toyota had no expectation it would sell well, so they priced it low and gave great finance deals, When it was a run-away success they were really suprised (pleasently). Now it is a "forever more" model they have priced it for the market to make a profit. Also they don't want to sell too many now as they have fleet average CO2 values to meet so they cant afford to sell too many.

We'll probably only have a few hundred each year so it could easily be that even after 6 or 8 years there may be less of the upgrade version than the original of which there are 4,000 to 5,000 in the UK and there may be only 6 years of sales left if the Labour party are serious about bringing the ICE car ban back to 2030 (as an aside, I really hope they don't, the country just wont be ready in 6 years time)

Oh I know, it's probably about right.
It just sounds a lot, if you know what I mean.
But just look at the price of used GR's, they are holding so firm.
So like I say you could run one for a few years and easily sell it for same money.

Do they do a manual version with a n/a V8? Asking for Cerb4.5lee laugh
Turbo charged 6 cylinder mated to an auto box is more his style tbh.

If they also made it an EV and restricted it to 200 mph top speed Lee’s head would literally explode.

Anyway, how can you sit in one of they are all sold.

I've been on this forum since 2005 and still can't understand why some posters seem to take great delight in slagging off strangers.

If you are not happy with him asking about stuff that was written about in the original review which didn't gleen answers just ignore/keep quiet.

Keep the place friendly, no need for nastiness smile
Might be that he just rubs people up the wrong way.

But yeah agreed lets keep it friendly, apologies you felt you had to write that.

On the face of it the only people that I have 'rubbed up the wrong way' are those who have had nothing more to add to the discussion other than a desire to express their need to attack someone for the sake of having anything to say. I'm more than happy with that.

Must be so frustrating for you, that you had to spew out an overly verbose and unnecessary reply.

Want to know about the seats? Go and sit in one. Simple.
Verbose? Are you a quarter wit? It was a simple response.

I have been much happier with the DCT F82 M4 in comparison to the manual E92 M3 in fairness for definite. thumbup

As a general rule I do like the manual/V8 NA combo though, and I did love the Cerbera for that. Plus I currently have 2 cars that are both manuals mated to NA engines as well(370Z/Caterham). smile

Bravo Lee for taking it in good spirit. I’ll raise a glass to your good health right now.

Today I was loaned a brand new full size Range Rover P550e in Belgravia Green with Caraway leather interior and headlining. You would love it Lee, 550 hp petrol with a battery and 90 miles electric range. 0-60 4.8 seconds. It was like that bread that’s apparently the best of both it was utterly fabulous. I did about 150 miles before I took it back. It’s now on 170. Doing the Lotto tonight.

That sounds like one hell of a car for sure Mike! smokin

I bet the interior in that is wonderful as well, and what a way to travel I reckon. thumbup

I presume that they have the BMW 4.4 V8 twin turbo engine in them do they?

I’ve seen a few comments about rear leg room. My wife and I are not very big, admittedly, but there is absolutely loads of leg room for our kids behind, and adults, too. More of an issue is headroom in the rear due to the cut-down roof line. I think any medium-height and above adults may struggle with this more than leg room.

For me as as MK1 owner, I certainly can’t see the value in upgrading given the difference in price and finance offering this time around. I’ve never found the performance, grip or handling lacking for road use, anyway. My only real criticism remains (and seems a common one) that you really need to drive it very hard to feel how good it is. It is fun at sensible speeds, but the real fun comes when you are driving a little bit harder than you really should on the road. Really terrible weather helps with this, where the limits are a little closer.

No 3.0 straight six petrol. Every toy possible. Massage seats front and rear. My 18yr old daughter who has Downs Syndrome loved it in the reclined rear seats getting a massage. It was £145k and Ive told him to call me in about 4yrs when it’s £75k. I get on really well with him and he will remember. Sorry Yaris GR fans for the deviation.
