If you mean me, my comment was more about how it's a rather stereotypical thing for an angry, aggressive driver in ropey areas of the Midlands to be piloting.The fact I think diesels are horrible in road cars is a secondary issue!

A 2010-11 1.6TDI Audi A3, that you then go and stick one of those w@nk 'cherished reg plates' on? No, it really is that bad. Oddly enough, whenever I see someone sporting one of the 'new type' reg numbers (post-September 2001) in an attempt to be seen as having a private numberplate, this little manlet is exactly who comes to mind as being behind the wheel.
