"the gap was massive" the DCW says when he moves into it... But it looked like one of those gaps where DCWs say "the lens makes it look further away, it was actually really close".

If I were the Civic driver I wouldn't have twisted my gusset and taken a year off the life of my main beams over it, just moved left and safely passed OR moved left and enjoyed that the DCW would have probably put his foot down, thus achieving the same aim of not fannying about and getting on with the journey.

Quick google says 900mm wading depth on an RR, with sensible driving it probably would have made it.

Literally the first 15 seconds of that video shows multiple "slow" on the road, multiple warning/hazard signs for a junction ahead etc. etc.

This video just reminded of a recent experience. There seem to be some very angry elderly men on the roads who have very fragile egos and appear to be under the illusion that they’re hard men. Unless they used to be a professional boxer in their youth they would get flattened by most younger and middle aged guys.

The dash cammer was a prick but the old guy came out far worse.

Another one sent in by one of Ashley's viewers who has made up some feeble excuses for his behaviour. The van driver is a nutter who chases him down to not really follow through with anything. I don't know if people send these videos in expecting to be supported or to share their mistakes as lessons for others.
