[quote=Dazed & Confused]I’m really torn on the looks.

From some angles it looks great, with really strong classic Vantage vibes.

Then from other angles it looks like a DB11 with a ridiculously out of proportion body kit. Like a child wearing their dad’s trousers.

It’s just not very cohesive.

Agree. The front has nice hints of squared-off classic Vantage, the rear is more like the swoopier modern cars (but a with a hint of A90 Supra), which doesn’t fit, and the louvres look out of place generally.

That front end is a mess. It looks like a prototype with a couple of Lucas headlights stuck in there to be road legal. I quite like the rest of it though.

Not for me.
Looks like a Mustang with a cheap body kit.
In some views/pictures I like it, but indeed, when I saw this picture I thought it could have been some classic mustang model, not that that is a bad thing, but stil, see front part were it got me in this angle.

and boy, can't they make a nice round-ish steering wheel anymore? pfff its just sad

Why do I dislike AM steering wheels so much?
they can't get it round anymore, they lost that tech long time ago, like NASA has with how to go through the van Allan belt to the Moon with real people on board... ;-)

Porsche still knows what is round though

I do like a lot of the design, but as others have said, the front does seem to be a little bit odd.
I'm not a fan of the rear light bar either, but each to their own.
I actually quite like the simplicity of the dash, the screen isn't overpowering in size, and the behind-steering-wheel area is quite clear so a nod to the traditional analogue style.
It is bloody expensive for what it is though, oh well, I'll never be able to afford one so it isn't aimed at me.

Front looks epic, back appears slightly unfinished. Bit too Porschey too.

At 1 million this is one indulgent car for the few who can afford it. Even with the available funds I wouldn't be tempted to drop the money on one. I'd have another GRY and something less exotic.
That really is not terribly imaginative.....I am thinking that perhaps you are not the target market for cars like this?!

For that money i would want a better steering wheel than some leftovers from the last lineup that didnt sell.

Look what bugatti can do in comparison https://www.wired.com/story/bugatti-tourbillon-202...

This would make me find an extra £3m just for that piece of engineering

For the money and the use it will get a roadster a'la project 7 would have more interest to me, I don't think that the coupe lines work well. I'll give Aston a call to see what can be done.

I loved the outside and power of the one-77 but also there the inside was ugly, the steering, the seats and so on.

its the interior were you sit, what you look at during the drive!

they put good people on the looks outside and some smoking to much weed of designer fantast for the inside.

That’s the ugliest car I ever have ever seen my life, and some muppets will pay £1m for the privilege.

Money can’t but you taste GR

the problem is the rear side window - it doesn't match the lines

I really like this, great to see something a bit different.

Agree with the above though, interior isn’t very stylish. Bit Ford Focus like in my eyes.

For Aston, it's a miss stylistically.
Although the tiny amount of desperate buyers disagreed...

Trying to think of the target market, at the moment that's "A squillionaire in his 60s in need of a new car. Has the usual Bond fantasies, but that Bond specifically being the Timothy Dalton era".

Challenging.....

That's very challenging.

Maybe it works in the metal.

Maybe it's just the photos, but there's a lovely lack of excess bodywork. The bonnet looks low, with the wheel arches almost meeting it for height, and the back 3/4 doesn't look bloated. It looks light, and looks slightly classic as a result. Really like the seats too.

I've found every Aston boring for the last 20 years - they all look bland, not beautiful. This just seems far nicer. Shame it's a million quid, because it reads like a £150k - £200k car.

I am one of those who actually likes the looks and concept.

Cannot understand however that Aston have not got the major touchpoints correct i.e. the horrible steering wheel and gearstick!
