At 1 million this is one indulgent car for the few who can afford it. Even with the available funds I wouldn't be tempted to drop the money on one. I'd have another GRY and something less exotic.
Sorry but Anastasia would not be seen dead getting out of a GRY at Cafe de Paris. I think the overall look looks pretty good. I would have done it a bit different in some ways but I am pleased it exists.

If Anastasia starts having opinions on my cars she can go back to her mother Moldova, or see how life as a portapotty suits. The credit card and the keys to the flat can be retrieved, even if the cost of the surgery is sunk. But seriously. It would be good to see this without the lipstick. I can see the attempt to reference the DBS/V8 which is no bad thing (I'm sure those cars were compared to Mustangs as well), and the way they're going about it - hinting at the connection whilst maintaining an otherwise modern design - doesn't result in a 90s retro horror.
... Except, despite what Aston says, it really is just a manual DBS which they've then messed around with the styling just to make it look sufficiently different to justify the price. Sounds like it drives like one to. Suspect many will be back on the market quite soon. Type of thing bought by the speculating community. I guess if it makes Aston some money that's a good thing - they certainly need it...
[quote=Dazed & Confused]I’m really torn on the looks.
From some angles it looks great, with really strong classic Vantage vibes.
Then from other angles it looks like a DB11 with a ridiculously out of proportion body kit. Like a child wearing their dad’s trousers.
It’s just not very cohesive.

Your observation is spot on: It is an obvious attempt to graft the aesthetics of the Victor onto the V12 Vantage platform. It doesn't quite work.

Dashboard looks like it was nicked from a Peugeot & stuffed in unchanged here hoping no-one would notice.
I'd like to like this car but Aston isn't making it easy to do so.
This is what hit me when I got to the interior pictures.I'd like to like this car but Aston isn't making it easy to do so.
I rarely read through whole articles these days because it's all same-oh digital but this was a good read. It explains that this is an analogue car, you can feel it moving around you, throttle response, manual, V12, mechanical grip. This is all lovely stuff, very old school then you look at the interior image and think WTF!!!
It looks like Aston wanted to design and build an analogue driver's car but it costs a million pounds to do so. And agree with others regards the looks, oh dear..
