Something about that shape that is just wrong, can't quite put my finger on it.

I'll stick with my RV8 car for now

Sorry but IMO the original 400SE or 430 450 variants looked better. Too Essex for me but I admire your work.

The Kevlar SEAC was spectacular.

That sir is truly lovely. I always liked the wedge shape 350i right up to the 420 SEAC (?) more than what came after. If I didn't have empty pockets I'd snap your hand off!

Love the look of the original MGB and MGB GT, I have never liked the MGB RV8 and this is even worse. vomit

Give me a chrome bumper version every time (I would even take a rubber bumper version over this every day of the week)
Agreed, chrome bumper is lovely

Yep, loved my old Damask Red GT V8 I had in the early '90s. Went well with a Holley 4 barrel carb on it too. cool

That steering wheel needs to die a deeply unpleasant death, need to go and rinse my eyes out with bleach after looking at that. Would rather steer by mole grips than have something like that in any car of mine.
Totally agree, there are some really naff aftermarket steering wheels available and they have picked the worst. Not convinced on the body kit or the colour. And original MBGT V8 would be much more preferable.

I like it, stands out compared to the normal bodies, and yes also agree with some, the SEAC versions were/are great.

I've had a standard 400 and 450. I like wedges obviously.

I prefer the se shape to the seac personally. Next step for me would be a road registered Tuscan racer like the purple example currently up for auction, but that's a big step up in £££ as well.

The 'wide one' gets attention like you wouldn't believe.

Thanks, Jim

This one sold at a Historics auction back in 2021. Apparently had a heritage re-shell and genuine RV8 bodykit and looked fabulous at the time, helped by being in the right colour of course.

That's nice not sure about colour but definitely a nice car
Me neither. It’s an appropriate Mini or Austin 1100 colour, but not MG and the paint looks a bit flat. It needs to be BRGreen ( let’s avoid the red with wire wheels cliche) . Two of us drove a B GT to Rome and back; it was pretty awful in the day! This version will be faster but heavier.

Bumperless really does suit it!

Can't say the same about any RV8. The B is a typical and tidy (if not outstandingly pretty, by the standards of the era & type) but the RV8 is a weird, out of place thing, "retro flump" - if that could be a thing.

For me, a standard MGC or B V8 is much more preferable to an RV8. Always felt if the MGB had an Italian badge on its snout it would be held in much higher regard. An achingly pretty car that familiarity has built contempt for over the years.
