There is one acceptable boss plate, but the DVLA dipsticks have not released it yet -

Seems appropriate.

Quad exhaust, AMG badge, tinted chameleon windscreen. Diesel rumble. It's a C220.

If they must fit an AMG badge, at least affix it in the correct position.

All part of the unrelenting desperation to impress in the high profile cut n thrust world of the BO55. hehe

And failing miserably.

Returning from Wales yesterday saw the ultimate C124PPY BO55 plate dominating the outside lane of the A55. On a Range Rover what else lol.

BIG BOSS rofl

Clearly hugely butchered.

What the real plate actually is beggars belief.

Desperation at nuclear levels.

No... That's on a Audi. B168 OSS is on a Land Rover R/R.

Purely to satiate my need for evidence to justify my confirmation bias, I'd love to hear them describe what they do for a living.

My guess is local small businessman, with a single digit number of employees. Orange wife. If he has an A-level or above education then he leans heavily on the term "opportunity cost" to stop himself from having heart palpitations over the level of debt he's in, and will go to "business networking events" at a local golf course to meet like-minded people. If he left school before A-levels then he will imply criminal connections and bang on for hours about how he studied at the school of hard knocks.

Regardless... With 100% certainty I can guarantee they'll be at least a bit of a tt.

I saw my first BO55 plate not on a Range Rover recently - it was on a heavily modified / chav'd up M4 cab.

And by coincidence it was seen within 50m of the infamous BOSS REF. hehe
You'll be pleased to hear that there is one less.... I went with a friend to buy this car last weekend.
The plate has (thankfully) been removed, though it's all over the service history!

I actually spoke to the previous owner as part of the purchase process, didn't ask him about the plate though lol
