Apologies if this reads a bit like an advert for Canoo, it’s not.

The LDV 130 commercial van, is a similar size to the Ford Transit Connect, Ram Promaster City or Nissan NV200.

The Canoo is 100% electric and is priced at $44,450 and qualifies for a $7,500 federal tax credit. That seems very cheap for a fully electric commercial vehicle.

Range seems limited < 200 miles.

Unsurprisingly, vegan leather interior.

Suspension, composite transverse leaf springs, for a low COG.

Reminds me of a commercial pickup (maybe VW).

Cool as a Penguins nadgers.

EV’s haven’t really floated my boat, for some reason this is different.
It's like a modern day one of these

Nissan Tiida (black, RHD, second gen) in Chelmsford yesterday. Wonder why anyone bothered importing one.

For a postal or delivery van as in the picture, travelling to the delivery area, starting and stopping over short distances, then going back, EV is ideal and 200 miles is fine. Similar thing with the Rivian vans built for Amazon in America, and the EV Transit type Amazon vans here (I think they're Mercedes Sprinters)

Arnold Shark brought a load in from Ireland. Not pretty, but cheap and a lot of car for the money. Not many left now and I would imagine they are pretty much worthless

Thanks - explains it. It was larger than a regular Euro hatchback. Couple available on AT at the moment.

The Holden Torana GTR-X, it just came up on my Instagram feed. It was a concept in 1970 and got as far as a few prototypes, it had a 3.0 straight 6 engine and a fibreglass body. 3 were built, 2 survive, in December one of them came up for sale in Australia.

It looks great in the flesh - it was one of the concepts that was sometimes displayed in the foyer of Holden’s HQ.

I see a bit of Toyota 2000Gt and Datsun 240Z in that. Gorgeous all the same

Specifically a WiLL Vi. WiLL was a sub brand made by Toyota and had products made by multiple Japanese companies aimed at younger people.

You could have this mini disc player to go along with your Vi if you so desired, amongst many other things. I think there is a reason the WiLL brand no longer exists biglaugh

The phone company launched 5 years before the car, so unlikely.
