And to continue the tai light trivia, the Monteverdi has rear lights from a 504 Estate, but curiously with the top reversing light bit replaced by indicator and additional reverse lights. What??

They're from a series 1 504. The series 2 (with integrated indicators) was introduced in 1976 IIRC.

Probably already well known on PH; Canoo commercial/utility vehicle. Modular designs looks interesting.

IMO the design looks fresh and modern. An EV, that looks like an EV.

Love that.

Modular body/chassis is really where the next generation of EV's should be heading, especially for utility vehicles.

All you need is a couple of wheelbase options as a skateboard chassis, then the body options are limitless.

Fantastic nerdage as always Doofus!

On the theme of 504 estates, Pininfarina made a 1 off show car - a 504 Coupe converted to a Lancia HPE like shooting break, called the Berlina. Only one was made, it's whereabouts today unclear.

A deep pocketed enthusiast had one made to the same design by HC Classics, with only photos of the show car to go on

Sorry. nerd But it's called Break Riviera, not Berlina.

Berlina is Italian for 'saloon'.

Are you sure that both of you don't mean 'brake'?

Not if they are French (where 'break' means estate).

Shooting Brakes are, of course, spelled like the stopping devices.

Un estate car =>

Apologies if this reads a bit like an advert for Canoo, it’s not.

The LDV 130 commercial van, is a similar size to the Ford Transit Connect, Ram Promaster City or Nissan NV200.

The Canoo is 100% electric and is priced at $44,450 and qualifies for a $7,500 federal tax credit. That seems very cheap for a fully electric commercial vehicle.

Range seems limited < 200 miles.

Unsurprisingly, vegan leather interior.

Suspension, composite transverse leaf springs, for a low COG.

Reminds me of a commercial pickup (maybe VW).

Cool as a Penguins nadgers.

EV’s haven’t really floated my boat, for some reason this is different.

An F40 LM 'Barchetta' but Ferrari got a bit waspish and it's not recognised as a Ferrari by the firm (in a way that the Breadvan never was until recently)

Never knew of it! (Info here: https://monochrome-watches.com/the-petrolhead-corn... )

Absolutely crazy, never seen it before. I have so many questions, but pleased to see some people just say "sod it" and do exactly what they like with their own cars. smile
