I posted this in another thread. Some sort of Honda. It lives in North Devon

Appledore. You need a car that small to find a parking space.

Its not that bad. This week I have had no issues parking a Volvo wagon or a Ferrari that is 2m wide

When they were briefly sold here, I don’t remember the reviews being particularly positive. A contemporary late Defender will definitely be a more pleasant thing to drive.
A late Defender possibly, and I'd bloody hope so, but as others have pointed out, the Santana developed better, more comfortable suspension and a more comfortable interior compared to contemporary Land-Rovers. I remember them being reviewed kindly. Whilst they started off as direct copies of Land rover, so they reqlly couldn't be better, or worse to drive, they were often better developed than the models they were based on as production moved forward.

Apparently only 3 were made in 1997. If you use google image search on the above it's first hit is an F40 smile

Haha, appreciate it’s certainly an ‘acquired taste’ and all a little melted round the edges but as a little family run around for the other half maybe…

OK, I’ll shut up now, but another car to add to this list that I didn’t know existed until my wife spotted it was the Daihatsu Materia (which she then went on to buy and own for coming on for what must be ten years?)

Very marmite! Well, imagine more just people don’t like to be honest but she loves it and it’s been surprisingly solid. Great internal space in a small car. If you can get over the looks! Ha

Calling something "hashtag" automatically means it should be crushed, I'm not even middle aged and I'm already thinking this st has to stop.

I thought I knew my Italian classics quite well, clearly not.

I didn’t know there was a convertible version.

Very rare Giulia GTC built under licence by Carrozzeria Touring in Milan. Only 1000 cars ever made. Carrozzeria were in deep financial trouble when they took the project on and eventually went under - the GTC was the last project they ever did.
