I see its bigger then I thought at more then 4,50 mtr also wheelbase over 2,60 mtr then I guess the turning circle is bigger then say 11 mtr?

say for my garage at the street without driveway and a smal-ish street, I can easily turn the car in backwards with 2 go's I mean turn to the sidewalk and then turn the other side in the garage , the Z3 has 10.4 mtr or M Z3 10.6 mtr, but then I bought a smal-ish Opel Speedster Turbo, I could not turn in thats way, I needed not 2 but 4 turnings so double, then I looked up the turning circle, it was 11.6 mtr...

So I try not to buy cars that need a bigger turning circle then say I guess 11 mtr maximum, so I wonder I also saw that say all? Mc larens need 12 mtr + or so... so I dropped those as well as one day maybe car.

of course some cars you can adjust the turning circle a bit, but still.

so whats it turning circle, not seen that I believe in this thread, could be handy for some buyers, also a smaller circle makes it easier in some situations.

It's the first drop top car that saves me 62% income tax through the salary sacrifice scheme and thus fits the triple role of being my convertiblle, my daily commuter and my fast car tax dodge. Freeing up the slots occupied by my 840d AND MX5 means I have a free slot for something else more left field. Plus I gain a useful tax dodge.

Do I think it's the last word in fun? No, but now I could buy a Caterham or Exige with the tax saving.

Sort of sums up the world of EVs at the moment….the prime reason to buy a car is as a “useful tax dodge”. If that’s all driving means these days…get a bike.

I think there's a lot of people in a similar situation even as 40% tax payer it makes a lot of sense and covers the 3 bases of daily, fast and roof down pretty well.

You’ll need to explain that, how do you get to a 62% income tax saving?

Whilst dropping salary to fund this, how do you end up with enough to buy an exige?

I'm lucky in that regard with the 370Z and Caterham only being 2 seaters as well, plus it is mainly only me driving them on my own anyway.

Although yesterday I was behind a slow moving car just as I got into a national speed limit area(just me and my 8 year old in the car), so I stamped on the throttle in the M4 and it just rocketed past the car in front, and it felt ace to me. I love the DCT for that, and now I have new MPS4S on the rears they will handle full throttle really well too.

The M4 is a funny car at times though, because yesterday doing that overtake it felt really rapid, whereas sometimes I stick my foot right down and I feel like it could do with a bit more shove though, it is all a bit odd really. However I have felt similar to that with a lot of other performance cars I've had over the years though to be fair.

If you crave a bit more shove when overtaking then it sounds like an electric car would be perfect for you!

I did actually think about that as I was writing it to be fair! thumbup

I saw an Audi E-Tron(the Taycan equivalent) do a load of overtaking moves the other day, and it looked so easy, and I don't mean that in a negative way either. It just blasted past everything, and I've always personally liked that kind of thing for sure. driving

Well, my two penneth for what it's worth! 1st off, I'm no fan of either EV's or Chinese cars, but I have to say, that this is the best looking EV so far.

Price wise, ALL modern cars are too expensive, but when you consider that if you order the Yaris GR with the extra stickers and badges, it cost £60K, I suppose that £55K in today's marketplace is quite reasonable!

However, even Lamborghini's don't have Lambo doors anymore and if it wore a SAIC badge, (which is what it is) we wouldn't even be talking about it! If I was in the market for one, as SAIC are about to launch a new MG6 with solid state batteries, I would wait until they go into this, as they seen to solve most of the problems with an EV!
