The number of the beast. 100m later the engine locked solid from bore scoring and blew up.

.

Minus points for not doing this one at 11:11 am and waiting until this happened at 11°C
Such joy in zeroing the trip early enough
Why can't I control the weather?

.

OK order is restored with a cheeky 6th gear.
But imagine if the temp gauge wasn't restricted to 0.5° increments! I could have turned the engine off, waiting until evening, and snapped the shot at a falling 6.7° C.!

This thread does not paint me in a good light. Man I'm a geek.

Why? I’m not the one getting excited by this.

It will always be funny; the day it stops being funny, you might as well give up.

That's odd - the mileage reading is in miles but the digital speed is indicated on KM/H - I guess this could be a handy feature when driving overseas, and configurable?

That's standard on this model. The analogue dial is just in miles, but the digital readout shows km as it's a legal requirement in the UK for both to be available. (If it were just a digital display, having a function to switch the two would suffice, but you can't change an analogue dial so it display the metric digitally).
