If this were 1600kg and 85% scale, I'd admire it even if I never bought it. However, as it stands, it's a monument to excess (for me). I'd tax it heavily due to its bloated weight.

Just my view.
Step away from the keyboard Mr Corbyn.

As for 85% scale, they do. As with most car brands, their cars go from small to big. This is big, if you want smaller, look at a smaller offering.

Hideous but not quite as vulgar as BMW's offerings.

the most powerful series-produced combustion model in the history of Audi Sport - how very sad that it takes stooping to this level in order to satisfy self obsessed man kids.
It must also have the distinction of the first series production panzer where the front is 95% grill.
Side looks good, rear not bad, looks like a reskinned Cayenne...oh it is.
And you drive? A base spec Up or the like because 'it's all you need' presumeably?

Other sources for the previous incarnation, like Evo, say that the standard 22" with tyre was 45kg per corner, so reasonable to save 5kg per corner with a forged wheel?
It's certainly possible given how heavy 22" cast wheels would be but also hard to trust manufacturer claims on weight (savings) imo. Still I don't think it makes a significantly noticeable dfference on a vehicle already so heavy.

I like it.

Big, comfy and fast.

As RS cars go it’s a bit understated for me (so should please the usual moaners) but I think it’s a good looking car all the same.

Interior looks great as well

Why does it come to this? Every time.

It’s just a disagreement on positive/negative freedoms.

For me, these bloody great things impinge on my negative freedom. Freedom from these bloody great things themselves.

I judge that the positive freedom to buy and drive what you want has limits. Of course it does. Otherwise we’d all drive tanks.

There comes a crisis point when there are just too many, too big cars for it not to be an issue. And that time is now.

Which is why I also drive an absolutely enormous car myself. Oh, wait now.

I drive a small SUV (Macan Turbo) and every time I drove one of these large SUVs (=RSQ8 sized, one size up from Macan) my conclusion was these are too big for the UK. On B-roads and in cities they’re just not fun. I know plenty of people have these cars but I prefer something smaller.

I'd assume its 5kg in total, rather than per wheel.

An important saving, noticeable by all but the most inept of drivers.

Strictly speaking, you did say 'assumed' rather than 'judged', but the net result is the same. Should anyone dare question or criticise the bloated world of the supersized SUV, you do bring all your toy soldiers out to play, and shoot from the hip with your idiotic taunts.

It's mightily tedious and you really do need to grow up.

You need to learn to read, and stop using phrases like "grow up you fking idiot".

Assumption was that s/he had a 911 based on the number 996 in his/her username. If you think that is idiotic, perhaps you need a dictionary as well.

Am drooling at the mouth and it's not because of the sudden heat that's come upon us. Just need to find one of those credit cards I've got (as have so many). Failing all else, I can simply get a PCP deal or similar. Will then feel fantastic on the road and all my friends and family will be sooo impressed.

As a one car garage proposition, its a pretty epic offering.

2 kids in child seats + dog in the boot, plus the fun when you're by yourself, throw in the added safety with the additional height (Plus visibility benefits for when in Yorkshire) it's easy to see why they're selling so well.

In an ideal world, this or an RS6? RS6 probably. But as I have a country lane to get home down, it would probably bottom out every 15 yards!

Irony alert: Angry man with hugely powerful V8 SUV judges Porsche owners to have chosen their cars as penis extension. You couldn't make it up!

Julian,

You judged me in your response to my post. You have judged me to be a proxy for a former socialist leader, presumably due to my views not according with yours.

Whether unwittingly or not, your responses to a number of posts do imply a fair degree of judgement.

I (lightheartedly) commented on you wanting to tax something because you don't like it and think others shouldn't? I didn't judge [I]you]/I].

But his comment was my judging Porsche owners.
