But I do hear a lot on PH where owners favour backbreaking rims. Is this a UK phenomenon or is worldwide?
Neither - a number of countries seem to be into this particular form of masochism, but certainly not all.

Toyota have a great history and are one of the few big manufacturers still making interesting drivers cars for actual petrolheads but the mk5 Supra just seems to have been such a flop in the UK. I can't even remember seeing a single one on the road since they were released.. I mean, I probably have but they are just so forgettable that it didn't even register.

I appear to be one of the few that like the supra, I think it's a great looking thing, shame it's more BMW than Toyota, but I could live with that, if I could afford one. Not keen on this with regards the styling mods, performance wise, fine, but the stripe, wheels and spoiler all look a bit off to me.

How fast are these is 400bhp a 180mph car is thr 60 time in the fours etc. Can you tune to 5 or 6 hundred and still drive it more than 10 seconds
I thought the traditional goal for one of these was less than 10 seconds, rather than more.

I quite like the stripes. You can shoot me now. The rest is pretty uninspiring though.

I have the same engine in my m240i and a dms remap shows a dyno figure of 460bhp, cost me 500 quid.

How will they jusitfy what I imagine would be over £1500 for such a small power increase?

Actually, this is based on their original output of 335 bhp, doesnt the updated supra come with 375 bhp?

£500 gets you a Bootmod3 license that you can do in your driveway to get you 400hp.

Considering the amount of people running them it’s a pretty safe option as well.

You can only do that on pre-2021 versions, the later ones all have the ECU locked down. It can be unlocked if you ship it to Femto in Finland.
