Thread resurrection. Currently in a Renault Captur hire car for a few weeks as my astra is broken, glanced down and noticed this number, had to pull over.

Not a genuine mileage, the tamper dot is on. It's been clocked. Badly.

BMW tamper dot - Google is your friend.

In my current V40 the odometer is hidden away in some menu options, so I don't have any moments.

Managed to take this when my 156 went over the 100,000 mile mark, was a little difficult as I was driving towards Stansted at the time.

Are there prizes on offer here? biggrin

Because from a single odometer reset, I got three incredibly satisfying moments over a few days. Even the fuel gauge has a pleasing pattern smile

I'd like to say it was meticulously planned to the metre but it wasn't, and pure luck that I spotted them!

I was waiting at traffic lights when I saw the last one and I was so amazed that I went to grab my phone to take a photo so I didn't miss it, until I realised there was a police car alongside me hehe

I pulled over, took the photo, and almost as soon as I moved away it ticked up. That's how tight it was.
