8 R on a black Range Rover spotted today on the M42.

Couldn't get a photo as it was travelling in the opposite direction.

The spacing. Thats all.

£250 plate from DVLA. Load of ste.
Admittedly the black BMW and this are a bit of a stretch for the thread, both £250ers, but there were only eight cars on the car park and five had cherished plates.

These are cheap generic DVLA plates, nowt special or "real good" about them IMO. I don't think they qualify for the thread by a long shot.
That’s Keir Starmer’s old plate, he used to argue it’s the best plate going! laugh

To what? The VW?

If so I'm taking an educated guess that's in NI, and they like their own fontslaugh

Interesting post SB.

There would be quite a few in NI who would have their plates made in the same fonts and sizes as a plate from the Republic.
My gut feeling is that any sensible PSNI officer would let that slide as long as the plate was legible.
For reference both numbers and letters are significantly smaller on an ROI plate.
This one is not one of those. These are just slightly smaller than normal but are in the correct font.

Craig, do you have any information on 363 GAO? Just bought it this morning.

It's an original issue, first issued in 1962. The original office for this letter combination is Cumberland. So no sold price data available other than its advertised with Regtransfers for £2090.

I had hoped it was an original issue! I know it was previously on an E plate Jaguar XJ-S. I've paid much less than that too, also struck a deal in him buying my "surplus" plates.

Thank you!
