What on earth was that? Clearly fake or very very butchered.

I may have upset an apprentice at work by telling him.that his private reg with 4d raised letters and dark tinted windows singled him out as "a wrongun"

But I did counter that by saying that its less of a wker than owning a tuned RD350LC with a pair of microns, and leaving for work at 6 am. Full chat. Like me at his age.

MT09 AND is apparently the genuine plate.

It’s because no one does anything about these misrepresented plates, so anything goes!

Crappy ones aside for a moment, but are personalised plates just naff in general? I've seen a massive uprise in them lately, and most are meaningless and lame.

I quite like some car related ones, such as A330 BMW if you have, erm, a 3.0 litre BMW, but I could still never bring myself to be so attention seeky.

I saw N 11 correctly spaced on a grubby old Golf estate a few days ago, being driven by an elderly looking couple. I imagine it's a plate that they've had for decades, possibly passed down through the family.

It's just the sort of valuable plate that some narcissistic chav would be absolutely frothing at the mouth for to put on their leased Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo/Merc Gimp-Wagon etc for instagram or TikTok views, whereas sticking it on an old Golf looks so much more classy in my opinion.

A majority of private plates are (in the grand scheme of things) cheap DVLA plates, usually mean something to the owner but need explaining for anyone else to understand. At the other end of the spectrum, you have genuinely valuable, few-digit plates such as N 11 that more than likely have a story to tell, especially when found bolted to non-exotica. These latter plates are genuinely nice to see and I don't think in anyway lame.
