Wasn't sure if this should go here or the Council thread, but on balance I think this can shade into the 'decently modified' section despite any arguments on whether it is a car or not... Behold:

That is all kinds of wonderful.

The plastic cover in the engine is a jarring sight on something that is otherwise splendid and executed very well.
Do you mean the inlet manifold?

That’s it, thank you, just couldn’t summon the words then.

Interestingly, the stock LS inlet manifold is so well engineered. It's often better than the aftermarket ones especially on the cathedral port engines.

Yes I watch way too much engine masters laugh

a lovely made Chevrolet Business Coupe 12-1937 with LS3 430pk and modern suspension and ventilated brakes and so on, price is also good, love such oldie with modern stuff, look also in the glove-box, nicely put out sight, kept most of the original looks.

That right there is my idea of automotive heaven.

Another 50/50 decent/bad, depending on the subjective. I'll put it here as it's different and looks well done. A Mini Cooper with a Chevrolet Nomad lookalike body.

Spotted at a show in Washington, no other info. I like it for being something weird, different and not looking shonky, at least in these pictures.

That’s hilarious. I love it.

I’d love to know the thought process that brought them to that.

I like that as well, although not the wheels/tires sticking out the body, not good, you then better give the car some wider fenders.

Shameless self submission, I guess I'm biased tho! My XU10J2TE swapped 205 GTi, made some pretty solid numbers today.

Had this thing for C5 Corvettes lately. Not a car I knew much about but they seem to tick so many 'petrolhead' boxes, RWD, V8, two door coupe, 6 speed manual, transaxle gearbox 50/50 weight distribution, pop-up headlights, available in targa top...

Yeah they are, great low slung lines. Having watched a load of reviews on them lately, it seems they are a highly rated platform too, a lot of the same set up and parts they used on the next generations, fairly lightweight car at about 1400kg as well. Surprised I never hear more about them really, but then they are not exactly a common car over here.

Not a picture but a video, a man built a 600bhp RWD MG Metro 6R4 R with a V6 turbo Ford duratec engine, under 1.000kg the thing looks very good, perhaps better then a original, its built on a old grand ma's automatic MG lol, its perfect mapped and so on.

speakers on, have fun :-) what a little monster.
