i think a model number plate that makes the car look 15 years old is worse

TT02 HGH. yes you have a TT why did you spend £350 on a plate that is awful and to most people think its 15 years old

Totally subjective in terms of whether you like this type of plate or not but I think BO55 plates are pretty cringey. Same goes for butchered plates to read as a profanity, a threat or totally rearranged to vaguely say something............... normally with an X or two for good measure. I do question what goes through someones mind to do this, but then the stereotype owner observations probably answer that.

I say this as someone who appreciates a cherished plate. Car linked ones are fine, some are quite good. My favourites are little words rather than classic initials. Drove past NOT 2B outside their London house last weekend. They were obviously out in 2B. Made me smile.

Clearly too 'clever' for me.

EVIL MUM is it supposed to say? (It clearly doesn't, but that's about the nearest I can get to anything resembling a meaning).
The Fritzl family?

Explain why someone has chosen to spend their own money on something they want? It would appear obvious?
No, explain what EV11 MUM is supposed to mean.

It's 'clever' apparently, but clearly I am not.

People pretending not to know what the plate says does make me laugh…it’s a bit like pretending you are a bit dim.

Some people aren't pretending. Sadly, they do walk among us, just about.

Must admit, I don’t get it either. I just see EVIL. It’s beginning to frustrate me now as I think I must be missing something obvious. Maybe someone could put us out of our misery?

Some people are a bit 'slow', must be the age of people on pistonheads. It's Electric Vehicle (no.) 11 and it's mum's.

The other is Dad's. Obvs to us younger ones, hahaha.

So the numbers don't mean anything then? Doesn't strike me as being all that clever.

Yes, the EVIL bit is obvious to all but the very hard of thinking…or those that pretend to be to prove how much they hate plates….I will give you that the MUM and DAD bit is very curious and must be just some random letters.

I have to admit, the first thing I saw was evil mum, not EV 11 MUM.

You see, this is the problem with private plates like this because it's all down to interpretation, if you have to explain them, then they are really not clever at all.

I knew a woman who bought a private plate for when her son could drive, the kid was maybe 18 months old. His name was Pierce so she got the plate P14RCE and put it on her range rover. Every time I looked at it I read Penis...all a matter of interpretation.

Jokes are the same.

I am pretty sure the EV 11 was a joke about not understanding the EVIL bit.
