Damn.

Not entirely convinced of the colour scheme, but as concept otherwise, I really bloody like that.

What do you think, right thread for the Porche?
Surprised this hasn't gotten any comments.

Classic 911 aesthetic with (relatively) modern interior, chassis etc.

Brilliant, imo - but again, I'll have mine in a less drab colour.

That's a very flattering angle. Not quite so nice from the side profile/rear

Never been a huge fan of the R170 SLK and I still don’t think they’ve come into their own with age, personally.

Look what you can do with them now.

yes lovely, they build them on different R170, also the AMG version V6 which is not hard to push to 400hp

but they also built them on pagode sl cars, those 60-70 cars, seen such for 240k euro and another very nice one on R170 for 198k euro, that one is so lovely, would like such (with some extra power) bt not enough money for such :-)

They are on my bucket list, there are even now ready to buy 'new' ones but expensive 400-500k euro, there is also a 'cheap' one almost ready for under 100k on ebay...

now this is a 'little' lumpy (and I'd likely have preferred the estate but...)

The badly modified thread had a VW Kombi Bus conversion of a Subaru Sambar kei car posted (should have been here IMO). So to cross over and keep the VW Kombi Bus thread going, this is the Surf Seeker, a converted VW Bus with a cartoon style body

https://www.streetmusclemag.com/features/car-featu...

It's a shortened and widened VW bus with a supercharged engine and 24 inch wheels. It's custom built, it's ridiculous but it's good ridiculous.

I love this, so much better than Nardo grey or a matte black wrap.
But then, I always liked the harlequin Golf's.

Yep smile

Might have to have a go at doing that in Forza (and GT7 if the R8 is in the game)

Loving the Cyan P1800. Saw it on Car Throttle youtube ages ago.

That R8 looks miles better like that than it does in Nardo Grey or Satin Black. Those colours are boring and everybody has done them.

My thoughts exactly. Same with the 928 resto mod, the proportions are all wrong.

Had a go at the paint and shared it in Forza Horizon 5 as 'R8 Harlequin' with my gamertag ajprice76 if you want to download it smile

It's not a 100% replica, mine splits the colour between the bonnet and wing shutline, that one follows the shape of the wheel arch crease, and I couldn't colour the mirrors.

Utterly brilliant. Why can't we have fun stuff like this on the roads - I mean, how could anyone get into a road-rage incident driving this (or a Frogeye Sprite)? Ron Berry's Shorebreak wagon from the same article is just as superb.

a lovely made Chevrolet Business Coupe 12-1937 with LS3 430pk and modern suspension and ventilated brakes and so on, price is also good, love such oldie with modern stuff, look also in the glove-box, nicely put out sight, kept most of the original looks.

The plastic cover in the engine is a jarring sight on something that is otherwise splendid and executed very well.
