Hi guys, not been to Silverstone for the F1 for about 15 years, but this year I am working there and as part of the deal my wife and daughter are there too, staff access Thursday - Sunday whatever that means but I know it’s certainly not access all areas. Because I will be tied up around the helicopter side of things they will be on their own for a bit and neither have been to F1 before, although they watch it on TV.
Any advice on good places to view / spot people Thursday and Friday especially? Places to hang out? I don’t have to do my thing while the actual F1 cars are running, just before and after each day, but would like some advice to keep them occupied!!
Many thanks .

Can I add a question please.

Driving in from the south, what time do I need to arrive on the Sunday to avoid a long tailback?

Many thanks.
Mate, you need to get there really early . The helicopter company I am doing a gig for said their workers head in about 5:30am from their hotel 11 miles away….
I elected for them to get me camping there as that is not my idea of fun every day, let alone my wife and daughter……

Thursdays and fridays you can use the grandstand, I recommend watching the practise sessions across from pit lane. Sunday is just chaos unless you have a seat.
Yes thanks for that, Sunday will be a bun fight I know, but that is great they can move around between grandstands Thursday and Friday 👌🏻

Is there a spot somewhere where they can see drivers arriving etc?
