I’m not sure if the manifold will be easy to find an acceptable location for… an engine-based coffee table? Hmm, would probably end up in the garage next to my boxed up Tornado taileron PFCU!Mark-C said:
Nice win! What to do with it is an interesting problem but surely you can find room for it somewhere? I'd not want to be letting it go.
Believe me, my mind goes from keep it to sell it every few minutes. It’s an ornament that will need dusting and polishing, will probably cost more on the contents insurance, and doesn’t serve any other purpose. And I NEEEEEEEEEEED a new lens. It’s beautiful. And a conversation piece.
But…
From the garage’s web page:
Part of a very limited run of just 10 pieces from “The Golden Era Collection” by Mike O’Connor, this is our Sauber Ferrari Sculpture that is now available to win through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.

I made one of those years ago with a rover V8, which ended up in a friends house as my wife was insistent it wasn't coming into our house. You can fit wine bottles in the bore, or these days led lights as well.Tony1963 said:

That's fabulous. Congratulations!
I have much jealousy.
Thanks. The shock has worn off now, and I’m just looking forward to Monday to collect it, and to have a tour of their facility. It’s only about 45 minutes away, with a drive through the Suffolk countryside to get there. I have much jealousy.

Interesting that the exhaust ports aren't all parallel, unless it's a trick of the photo?
Now I have it home, I can see that the four centre tubes are level with each other, as are the four outer tubes. Probably something to do with the tight packaging required. Or distorted over the last 13 years!
