Class of 2024 - Your Season Review
Discussion
The Monday after the last race can be a depressing day, it's a long time until testing (for us if not the teams) so something fun to while away the days.
One of the highlights for me has been Pierre Gasly's rise to team leader. Always liked the lad and as well as beating the (underrated) Ocon the fact he hasn't cost the team any money in repair bills is a huge bonus for a small team.
Franco Colapinto was a breath of fresh air, Ollie Bearman did superb in the Ferrari and Lawson finally got a seat, a great year for the new kids.
If the new kids did great, poor old Danny Ricciardo, where did it all go wrong? Even now, some are willing him back into a seat.
The Hamilton/Mercedes era is (thankfully) over after Mercedes seemingly did their utmost to ruin the legacy they created together, with a little help from Lewis himself with his qually performances.
Was there a race in the entire year that both Williams finished with all four wheels attached?
Aston Martin, jeez where do you begin? A demotivated Alonso and Lance Stroll-can even the magic of Newey bring anything to that?
Notable mention for me has to be Hulkenberg, K-Mag is actually a lot faster than people give him credit for but Nico's speed in that Haas was so impressive it got him the Audi gig-what a result!
