After handbags in Hungary, we’re in Belgium and the classic Spa circuit. It was a Red Bull 1-2 last year with Max wining his 8th race in a row. Hard to see that result happening again.
Mercedes should be up there if its cooler than Hungary and McLaren has an excellent chance of another 1-2.
Poll is for the win.

McLaren 1-2 for me. Norris will put it on pole, Piastri right behind him, Norris will have his usual poor start but this time will pass on track/pitstop and not be required to change places. Norris will still whine about something.
Max will have stellar pace compared to Checo, but will complain his car is like Bambi on ice and the strategy is all wrong.
Lewis will have an OK race but "these tyres were the wrong choice, man".
George could have a brilliant race, or not. Nothing in between.
Carlos will be faster than Charles and Ferrari will once again be asking themselves if they offed the wrong driver. As will we all.
We are overdue a Sargent in the wall causing a red/safety car. And Albon will top ten in Qualifying.
Favourite race of the year for me. And if it rains, even better. Of course, if it rains, throw all those predictions into a hat and pick a name for the winner. What odds on Sargent?

A weekend of mixed weather by the look of it, not that I think it’ll be close enough to bring Mercedes in but it might get them close enough to the pack to create something interesting should the McLarens and red bulls squabble.
A bit of pressure for our main protagonists to put down a marker before the summer break, I can see some tempers coming to the fore.
Genuinely excited but annoyed not to be there!

I'll vote for max on this one.
Their DRS speed through the straight will be phenomenal come race day and from what I can remember this track is fairly smooth and the curbs not too harsh if you're sensible. I also feel like he will have lots to prove, and for all his faults and emotions currently on-going, I think he's most definitely the fastest driver we currently have across a single lap.
Max pole, probably to lose 1st during T1/Eau Rouge and to gain it back by the first 2 laps under DRS. I think the rest after that will be history, not withstanding a VSC/SC to spoil it.
Norris and Sainz on the podium, Hamilton to beat Russell and LeClerc to fluff it somewhere.
Unfortunately wont be watching it live on the count of my Scottish friends visiting for the weekend, but I've access to sky for the next few weeks so I'll have it on record!

Thanks, PiaP.
One of my three favourite circuits, but the racing is not always riveting, Weather helps bring it alive, but not too much.
It will, however, be interesting. If RB don't make a come-back here, then they've had to change something on the cars. The idea that three other teams have made these massive strides forward by changing bits of carbon seem a bit far-fetched. Still coming down from the euphoria of Hungary, but I doubt the lockout will be repeated here.
Could be fun. If Hungary can host a thrilling, and fascinating, race, then it can't be that hard.

Well I did vote Lewis, but having checked the weather forecast and depending on which one you look at, at best there's a 50% chance of rain on Sunday, if it stays dry then I think the Red Bull DRS will be too powerful and Max will win. If it's wet then Lewis or Lando.
Saturday looks like a greater chance of rain so that could make for an interesting qualifying and could mix the grid up a bit. Checo to bin it again?

Thank you. Just saved me posting almost the exact same predictions!Max will have stellar pace compared to Checo, but will complain his car is like Bambi on ice and the strategy is all wrong.

Hard not to see the McLarens doing well here. Hopefully the Mercedes will be up there, but RB won't be far off the pace either. Will Ferrari be competitive?
Hulk in the top 10? Always does really well at Spa
Max will take a new engine, and should be OK because they are really fast on the straight, however will the midfield go for skinny and fast, so he may find himself blocked coming through.
Expect more Max tantrums. Wasn't Spa where he went mad in Sim racing and punted people off for a disqualification?

Thanks Mr Poke!
I think we'll see a Russell pole, followed by Norris and Hamilton.
Russell will have an issue of some kind and end up shafted 5 laps from the finish inspite of a commanding lead.
Final podium:
NOR
HAM
VER
Perez to somehow collide with Ricciardo, bringing out the safety car that screws Russell.
