How would you given the space provided redesign the grand stand arena area to make it as exciting as possible with a good chance to overtake? Rules are you cannot increase the area but you can change the track prior to it and any layout within it.
The original track was a beast of a circuit. The last long corner especially. But again it's another track ruined.
The Grandstand section is laughable.
Disney World stuff.
I'd just reinstate the "Peraltada" in all its glory. Epic, white knuckle bend. It was eliminated to appease the usual safety snowflakes despite, to my knowledge, never having been the cause of an injury inflicting crash in an F1 race. If they were really so desperate to interfere with it they could have put a chicane before the entry. The grandstand area that they came up with instead is comical and has destroyed a key feature of one of the most exciting circuits.

Well, not really. The run-off area was removed and reclaimed for a permanent road and a concrete barrier was erected around. So it wouldn't have been the same anyway.MitchT said:

Senna rather critical of the circuit. One year he crashed and went upside down IIRC it was caused by the bumps.Big Nanas said:

The track would be the same, there just wouldn't be a huge run off area. Aerial photos suggest there's still enough room for run off at least as wide as the track itself.entropy said:
