Pirelli tyres for 2019

For 2019, the tyres will still be a range of different compounds, but they are getting rid of calling them super, ultra, hyper etc with the pink, purple, blue and orange bands on the dry tyres. The 3 tyre compounds for each race will be a white band for hard, yellow band for medium, red band for soft.

So technically the soft tyre at Silverstone could be harder than the hard tyre at Monaco, they'll still be the same colour bands and be called soft, medium and hard for every race.
