Hi just wondering if anybody has a couple of tickets they wanting to get rid of?,there always seems to be quite a few become available in the weeks leading up to the gp so thought I would give a shout out to anybody wanting to sell.I know they are still available on the Silverstone site but the prices are really a bit crazy for myself and daughter and when you add fuel, hotel, etc your talking a easy £500 for a days racing!

Good luck OP. thumbup

I've never gone there and have no desire to - it's flat as a pancake so you'd be better off watching on the TV, especially at Silverstone prices!

And it seems like you need to get there around 5 AM unless you want to spend the day in a queue.

If budget is a concern, have a look at Spa, Monza or Barcelona. A trip to any of those works out cheaper than Silverstone tickets + nearby hotel.

Yes definitely would probably work out cheaper for one of the above gp's and have thought about it but the daughter has her heart set on Silverstone for this year! Any for sale anybody???

would you not be tempted with general admission? Looks to be nice weather on the Sunday albeit patchy showers on the Saturday, should be plenty of places you will get a good view just avoid the busy places like becketts and the pits straight section.

I will probably have a couple of general access tickets available, Mrs Wisdom was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease and is finding movement increasingly difficult and I fear wandering around Silverstone will not be conducive to her well-being....

Message me if you're interested.

There are still a few kicking around at great prices in for multiple tickets on eBay.. also in the events section a chap is selling a hotel 2 nights at a decent price. If doing this you’re going to save a fair bit of ££.

I have twice bought tickets on eBay on the Thursday by merely emailing people local to me selling or unsold (because they were asking too much). Their tickets becoming less and less valuable every minute.

Totally agree that this is completely wrong, you admit yourself that you haven’t been and thats fine maybe its not for you. But maybe don’t start stating facts.

I have never had anything but an amazing time and there are plenty of good view points. Traffic isnt even too bad these days.

Edit

Sorry was trying to quote the chap above you.

If you look earlier in the thread, NormalWisdom has tickets and asked you to contact him - have you done this?

I managed to grab a seated ticket earlier via gumtree at a bargain total of £120 (becketts) including inner track pass. My calculations say it is more or less a third of the price paid in the first instance.

Search Facebook for “Silverstone f1 tickets” plenty of people trying to off load some.

Talking out of your arse old chap. I've been to the GP a Silverstone a few times and I've never been at the gate a 5 am and never been in that much of a queue. If you think Silverstone is bad try Spa since Max arrived in F1.
