What to change at Monaco?
Discussion
What would you do or could you do short of dropping it.
I google earthed it the other day. My only thought was a serious redesign of the first corner moving back kerbing on the outside and extending the inside kerb running further into the run off area to create more of a hairpin.
Anywhere else?
Open up the other part of casino square?

Was that the most exciting F1 'race' (make like a train) ever ?
It was the most amazing the leaders car is broken but the cars behind cant keepup because their tyres have gone. Did anyone in the Top 10 over take at all ?It was the most exciting Monaco for a while but it would have been more exciting just watching the lap times and gaps on a timing monitor. It was more like an old 8 bit computer game simulation.
Given the cars are 2m wide though there is 1 overtaking spot which involves out braking ypur opponent and risking flat spotting your tyres.

They might as well have had coupling hooks and pieces of string between them.
So long as they finished in the order they started, finishing was the best option

You know what ironically sprinklers round the whole track wouldn't be that hard or costly to set up.
Can you imagine the conspiracy theories and internet outrage whenever the random sprinklers don't favour whichever team somebody follows? If you’d ever been there to the race or even just walked round the track you know that it should be left as it is.
Watching it on tv gives a very false or vague idea of how incredible this event is: the race is almost always a precesssion, that is the nature of this track which has to be the ultimate challenge for any racer.
Today’s race was ruined by silly tyre regulations the best bits were watching Free practice and qualifying, give them some decent tyres to race on - not drive around saving tyre life.

Would Formel E work better at Monaco?
They don't have enough power to get up the hill Seriously though, they have raced FE at Monaco, but only on half the circuit. They turn even tighter right at Ste Devote down towards the Nouvelle Chicane, which now becomes an incredibly tight hairpin, then back around the harbour front. It was rubbish.

Maybe they should do the same as horseracing, and have a ladies day.
which for some reason doesnt mean a ladies racing day
