Kevin Magnussen
Discussion
Is it not time Kevin Magnussen gets a race ban or much tougher penalties?
His driving has been dangerous and shocking to say the least.
Gastly incident

Charles Leclerc incident.

Does he need to seriously hurt a driver before he receives a proper punishment?

From that list I can only see 4 drivers with a 'clean' licence. Ocon, LeClerc, Bottas and Hamilton. Well done them!RE KM, I actually quite like him although some of his moves are on the dangerous side of the line, but imo he's no worse than Max.

Poor Kvyat - not even in a racing seat and still leads the penalty points table!

I like Kevin, nice chap when i once met him in person i thought and others who have spent much more time seem to like him. But he is no Max. The boy's good, but not top of the tree good and to be honest he has a history of being a bit 'too fast and too aggressive' for his own good.RE KM, I actually quite like him although some of his moves are on the dangerous side of the line, but imo he's no worse than Max.

Definitely not in the same class as Max when it comes to overall race craft, but they are pretty similar when it comes to questionable moves in defending a position.
I think Verstappen is just a bit too strong when it comes to his attacking and defence style.Magnussen on the other hand is just plain dangerous.
I am amazed that Verstappen is getting so much grief when Magnussen's moves were on another level.
He should have been banned from Spain at least.

I don't understand the FIA's leniency to send the clear message across to the guy, there's a fine but clear line between driving like a bellend and racing and he's been crossing that line all the time.
I guess because then they would have to take similar action with Max and there is a lot of money at stake in doing that!?Apparently on analysis it emerged that Magnussen and Leclerc both moved right at exactly the same time to within thousandths of a second hence Magnussen's move wasn't a blocking move but merely a very late defensive move, and Leclerc must bear some of the responsibility as he was closing at quite a rate and it looked as though he may have hit Magnussen even if he hadn't jinked to the right.

I am surprised that Verstappen is even being mentioned compared to Magnussen.HustleRussell said:

That's the BS that FIA wants us to believe in (for some unknown to me reason! Is Magnussen somehow linked to someone to get so much protection?). If you watch herehttps://youtu.be/OwShYQJ0uSw?t=63
hit pause and then do a frame by frame thing (using . to move forward a frame and , to move back a frame) it's clear that it wasn't within thousands or as Charlie claims "one frame difference". There's 30 frames between Charles moving and Magnussen reacting (reacting while Charles was half way over into the passing lane already). LeClerc was clearly cock blocked by Magnussen. It reminds me of the dirty move that Schumacher did to Hakkinen in Macau in 1990, that took Mika out.

"and at exactly the same time, on the video, one frame, there’s one frame difference, then Kevin moves"
