That looks horrific. Hopefully, that YouTube video is the last anyone ever hears of this idea. Where the hell are any fans going to sit when half the course is driving over a bridge, hanging a u-turn, and driving back?

They should race at Daytona. I know that isn't in Miami, but it's all part of the same swamp.

That looks rather amateur, to be honest. Drive up and down a bridge and then loop around a sponsor.

For a nation that loves oval racing this is still too many corners.

One of the biggest issues with the current track layout is the level crossings.... https://goo.gl/maps/R39zC8SSTso / https://goo.gl/maps/fHiZSiwp7b32

It's the main route into the port by train so they won't remove the tracks...

At 0:56 you can see someone's been having some donuts in the car park (or the local motorclub were running an Autosolo) wink

But yes. It's a bag of st.

Didn't they send a race over the crossing previously? Or have I imagined that?! hehe

edit: found it, it's Champ Car at san jose

They could easily lay some temporary tarmac over the tracks, then pull it up after the race. That's what they do with the cobbles in Baku.

You think that's bad? How about Baltimore and their railway crossings. biggrin
