I have an idea.
Firstly scrap Friday practice, these guys are the best in the world so there's no point in practicing if they are the' best in the world', it's not as if they can get any better.
Saturday is the only day you are getting a few thing right so leave it as it is.

Sunday, race day. (In the olden days this is went as fast as they could and sometimes blew engines up) I think with a few changes here you could save a fortune, may even be able to go to one engine per season.
Here's the big idea, a one lap race!
It's brilliant, your tv audience would stay awake for the whole race!
The list of benefits is endless, millions would be saved.

Ps. If you have any telephone numbers for the unemployed grid girls please send them over.

You are right, that is a brilliant idea, but to make things a lot more exciting I would suggest that half the grid goes in one direction around the circuit and the other half of the grid goes in the opposite direction.
