Silverstone hostels etc (the cheaper the better)
Discussion
Hi
(Sorry for my English, not my native)
I moved to UK some time ago and I always wanted to see at last one F1 race live.
Since now distance to track is not that big I though about Silverstone this year.
Probably gonna buy 3day general admission ticket so I need anything to stay for 2 nights.
As I checked already lots or probably all hotels are already booked for the time when race is on, but I don't need any fancy hotels, just a room with bed is all I need
Anyone know anything worth to stay in, not to far from track?
Thank you in advance for any reply and help.

There aren’t too many hostels that close to Silverstone. Does the Premier Inn at the Green Man have availability?
If not, just camp like everyone else!
What you mean to camp like everyone else? Never been on any race so I don't know what ppl.do.If not, just camp like everyone else!
Also I'm going there by car with friend or maybe 3, so don't have to be just next to the track but "close"
What was the date you were looking at?
There is a hotel onsite called a Snoozebox. Made out of containers, each container is two rooms. It has been about 4 years since I last went and stayed in it but it was very good value. The use of space to fit 3 beds in such a tiny space was amazing too.

By the looks of it you can only book it on Trivago, booking.com etc but as its only open for special occasions you need to put the date of the event in before it shows you much information.

There are several campsites on and around Silverstone - you book and pay online, then turn up (from Wednesday on some sites), pitch your tent and enjoy the atmosphere. Also I'm going there by car with friend or maybe 3, so don't have to be just next to the track but "close"
Thousands of fans do it every year - it's probably the most cost effective way to stay.
Hope you get there...
