Well attended my first F1 race since 1998 and was suitably pleased with the whole event, the only real disappointment was the noise of the cars which in comparison to the old days was rubbish.

I would though thoroughly recommend going to the Hungaroring, the circuit is compact enough that you can see cars in several locations, the food and drink outlets are plentiful and the taxi and bus services from Budapest are really well organised. We had seats at turn 1 which was a great spot, plenty late braking, incidents and a few overtakes. The fan zone area was pretty well laid out and they had a stage with live music and a DJ on Friday & Saturday.

Budapest was fantastic, it has a great café/bar/restaurant culture and is well priced.
