WDC's vs WDC's in the same car?
Discussion
One for the statisticians (& old timers) & in light of the recent press conference question about having Alonso as a teammate
Of those drivers that have claimed a WDC, how many of them have managed to beat over a season, another (current or future) WDC whilst they were teammates?
off the top of my head i've got:
Lewis Hamilton: 3 (Alonso, Button, Rosberg)
Nico Rosberg: 2 (Schumacher, Hamilton)
Sebastian Vettel: 1 (Räikkönen)
obviously more to add to the list & but is 3 the record?

Lewis Hamilton didn't really beat Alonso, they tied on points. 109 points each and same number of wins.5 - Prost (Senna, K Rosberg, Mansell, D Hill, Lauda)
2 - Lewis (Button, Rosberg)
2 - N Rosberg (Hamilton, Schumacher)
2 - Alonso (Kimi, Button)
2 - Button (Hamilton, Alonso)
2 - Juan Manuel Fangio (Farina, Ascari)
1- Vettel (Kimi)
1 - D Hill (Villeneuve)
1 - Clark (G Hill)
1 - G Hill (J Stewart)
1 - Lauda (Prost)
1 - Farina (JM Fangio)
1 - Ascari (Farina)
1 - Hawthorne (P Hill)
1 - J Brabham (D Hulme)
1 - Rindt (Fittipaldi)
1 - Fittipaldi (D Hulme)
1 - Hulme (J Brabham)

Having had a look, this is what I could come up with:
I thought Prost had 5 originally including his pairing with Lauda, but Lauda nicked that WDC by half point didn't he?

So perhaps another WDC scalp to Lauda then?Driver | WDC | WDCs Beaten | Comment |
