I've abandoned Sky Sports.
Last season I picked and chose those races I would follow, using Ch4 - whose coverage I enjoy - and Now!.
Staying up until 2am for hours of coverage is beyond me nowadays so Ozwoz was likely to be avoided live, although I'd normally record it and watch the full race without knowing the result.
All in all it was an excellent balance. If there were just, say, a dozen races a season then I'd go for them all but 20 is a real test. If I watch a race, I like to watch the qually as well, plus the predictions, making each one an 'event'.

CH4 is normally enough for me too. Though it is tradition now to at least put the effort in and watch the opener live.
Its a shame the opener is not live. That's one way to kill off the interest in a sport, make it very difficult to watch, unavailable on line, and over priced for its subscription only service.
In the UK there will be less than 200,000 people watching the first race - how does that work for the teams trying to sell sponsorship packages to big brands, charging millions for an invisible sport?
Well done Bernie, you and your money grabbing greedy associates did your worst.

Trouble is, I would need a TV licence too.
Saying that, the All4 app on my Roku is a heap and I can't stand the way they sometimes take hours and hours to get the highlights up. I may invest this year.
Having a tv licence would also mean I could get the Eurosport player and watch some cycling too. Tempting.

It's tempting me. Ebay, cheap 1 day Sky Sports Now TV pass and you are done.

With the bonus that with Eurosport you also get Le Mans.Trouble is, I would need a TV licence too.

Well apparently the site I suggested is an illegal download site and against rule 10 of the forum rules so I've deleted my post
InterestingStreaming isn't downloading and is perfectly legal, the distribution may not be legal but the act of streaming it from a publically available source isn't as you're not storing the data. Theres plenty of legal cases to support this.
Over zealous modding i'd say
